Making breastfeeding and pumping a standard part of public life
Nestpod makes breastfeeding and pumping on the go normal and well organised. Not as an extra, but as basic infrastructure.
Mothers should not have to improvise in toilets, cars or back rooms. Nestpod offers a calm, private and reliable space that works in real workplaces and public locations.
Meet the team

Naomi Griekspoor
Founder
"After my maternity leave, I returned to work and needed to pump. The lactation room was a back room... I thought: is this really how it works everywhere?
Outside of work, it didn't get easier. I pumped in the car, constantly had to think: where can I go, how long do I have, and will it work?
Later, while travelling with our youngest, I looked for a quiet place to feed at a major airport. There was none.
Nestpod started there. To make feeding and pumping a standard part of public life, not a daily puzzle."

Birgitta de Gruijter
Co-Founder
"I want to contribute to a more inclusive world. Not just talking about change, but making it, feeling it, and seeing it."
Birgitta joined Nestpod with conviction: to support new mothers in their return to work and on the go. By helping mothers in a vulnerable phase, she also helps employers retain talented staff.
Twenty years ago, she wrote a manifesto for her future self on how to manage young mothers. Now, she brings those ideas to life at Nestpod.
