No. Maia is the room. You only need one standard power socket: no water, no building work. Indoor use only.
It helps you keep talent after parental leave, reduces stress and absenteeism, strengthens your employer brand and gives you a visible ESG and DE&I step you can report on.
In the Netherlands, employers must give breastfeeding employees time and a suitable, private, lockable room to pump, until the child is nine months old (Arbeidstijdenwet, art. 4:8). Germany and France have similar rules.
Both. Purchase is ideal if you keep the pod for the long term. A lease keeps the upfront investment low.
Within 8 weeks after your approval. Our certified installation partner delivers, places and checks the pod on site, anywhere in Europe.
Via the smart lock: a QR code, the app or your company badge. There is a physical key as backup, and a free/occupied light outside.
Inside, mothers find Tork hygiene products to clean their pump parts on the spot: paper wipes and alcohol gel, plus waste bags and milk labels. For your facility team it takes one sentence: add the pod to your regular restroom cleaning round, at least twice a week. Every pod comes with a care guide and a starter supply; refills are available in the Nestpod shop.
Yes. Maia is designed for breastfeeding mothers, and it is just as suitable as a quiet place for pregnant employees to rest, or for colleagues who need a calm moment. If you include this in your internal communication, the room is used more widely.
